3 Tasty Snacks for Hostel Students in India

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I’m going to share with you some easy snacks that you can make in your hostel room with minimal ingredients and equipment. Trust me, these snacks are perfect for when you’re feeling hungry, bored or homesick. They are also cheap, healthy and delicious!

The first snack is a classic: bread omelette. All you need is some bread, eggs, salt, pepper and oil. You can also add some cheese, onion, tomato or green chilli if you have them. Just whisk the eggs in a bowl, add salt and pepper, heat some oil in a pan and pour the egg mixture. Cook for a few minutes, then flip it over and place the bread slices on top. Press them lightly so they stick to the egg, then flip again and cook until golden. Cut into pieces and enjoy!

The second snack is a sweet treat: banana peanut butter sandwich. This one is super simple and satisfying. You just need some bread, peanut butter and a ripe banana. Spread peanut butter on two slices of bread, then slice the banana and arrange it on one slice. Cover with the other slice and cut into triangles. You can also toast the bread if you like it crunchy.

The third snack is a spicy delight: maggie masala. Maggie is a popular brand of instant noodles in India, but you can use any noodles you like. You just need some water, maggie masala (or any spice mix), oil and some veggies like carrot, peas or corn. Boil the water in a kettle or a pot, then add the noodles and the masala. Cook for a few minutes, then drain the excess water. Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the veggies for a few minutes, then add the noodles and mix well. Enjoy your hot and tasty maggie masala!

These are some of the easy snacks that I make in my hostel room when I crave something yummy. I hope you liked this post and try these snacks yourself.
